Shop Stewards are union members selected to represent the union on the front lines. They look out for other members, educate the bargaining unit, enforce the contract, and are the “eyes and ears” of the union. You are entitled to have union representation during investigatory interviews if you reasonably believe that the interview could result in discipline.
